Job Accountabilities / Responsibilities Act as the sole accountable leader for all on-site construction activities, serving as the primary decision-maker for the EPC project team at the fabrication yard. Management and commitment to Company’s Zero Accident and Zero LTI Safety policy. Review preparation of the site activity execution plan, based on Advanced Work Packages. Responsible for job site operations as assigned, ensuring alignment with project milestones, budget constraints and HSE/QAQC standards. Establish, coordinate and implement project schedule as developed per contract and allocate material and construction equipment as required. Responsible to review the field manpower organization and ensure adequate resources are planned, hired and available and direct their effective allocations. Work with Project Director and Contract Manager on commercial negotiations where required. Implement level 4 detailed activities which are extracted from Baseline Plan, conduct daily toolbox talks and internal progress reviews with site team. Host weekly Client Construction Review Meetings, presenting progress dashboards and relevant mitigation action to be executed. Ensure that training programs and lessons learnt sessions are held regularly to support the construction plan. Oversee weld traceability systems, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) compliance, and FAT/SIT (Factory/System Integration Testing) Approve all site-related expenditures, including overtime labor and rework costs, ensuring adherence to the construction budget. Act as Safety Leader, conduct unannounced safety walks, audit permit-to-work systems, and investigate incidents . Maintain a live risk register for site-specific threats (e.g., crane failures, weather disruptions), escalating high-impact risks to the Project Director in time Negotiate change orders for client-driven scope revisions, ensuring updated work packages are issued ; Enforce EPC contract terms (e.g., liquidated damages for delays), conducting monthly KPI reviews with subcontractors (e.g., productivity rates, rework %). Provide constructability suggestions and input during engineering review. Job Holder Requirement Qualifications: 1. Related Engineering Degree or Diploma 2 Native-level English ,excellent written and verbal communication skills in Business English and proficiency in Mandarin 3 Familiarity in Industry Construction Methods and Procedures, particularly related to Modularization fabrication principles 4 Strong technical background with hands-on experience in Structural / Piping /Mechanical disciplines in modules fabrication. 5 leadership skills in managing a diverse skilled / unskilled work force. Experience 1. 15 + years in Oil & Gas industry, Experience in FPSO is beneficial 2. Worked in a Construction Manager/Director role for major International onshore/offshore modules fabrication projects 3. Experience of Craft Supervision of Piping, Structural and Mechanical. 4. Proven track record in delivering FPSO process modules, utility modules, or living quarters within shipyard environments. 5 Contract Management Experience; |
